RN Concepts (role of the nurse) - This 30-minute training serves as a follow-up to the training on basic concepts of advance care planning (ACP), specifically focusing on the role of the nurse. It identifies advance care planning competencies and assists the nurse in understanding his/her responsibilities in such areas as identifying patients need for medical information, providing basic information on advance care planning, advocating for the patient's expressed wishes, and making referrals. Includes Basic Concepts course.
Contact hours: 1.2 contact hours are awarded to RNs and Social Workers for completion of RN Concepts.
